About the Event

Last Mile Entrepreneurs (LMEs) and early-stage businesses in the eCooking sector play a crucial role in promoting energy access, accelerating adoption, and awareness creation and yet they often encounter significant challenges, such as limited access to finance, inadequate infrastructure, complex regulatory environments, and gaps in business management skills.

Despite the growing demand for eCooking appliances and increased adoption, securing thenecessary financial support to expand entrepreneurial initiatives and scale remains a challenge.

During this part 2 of financing eCooking sector series, Ms. Emna Jabri, Client Acquisition Manager at Bettervest GmbH, shared insights into their crowdfunding platform, which finances a range of projects, including clean cooking initiatives in East Africa and Germany. She will also present case studies of sector-specific projects they have funded for learning purposes.
